Saanjaa by Jigskalim: A Journey of Fabric, Form, and Feeling
The story of Saanjaa doesn’t begin with garments. It begins with fabric — and with a man who understood its languagebetter than most. Jignessh Mehta, a name long respected in India’stextile corridors, spent decades immersed in the art and science ofmanufacturing, dyeing, and printing. His mastery wasn’t just technical — it wasemotional. He saw fabric not as a surface, but as a canvas for expression. Overthe years, his work powered some of the country’s most trusted brands andexport houses. But something remained incomplete — the deeper connectionbetween the fabric he created and the person who would eventually wear it.

In 2010, a quiet shift began.
What if the same passion for detail, quality, and artistry could move beyond rolls of fabric… and into complete garments? Starting with just 300 khatli khatas, Jignessh began offering bridal ensembles — not mass-produced outfits, but thoughtful pieces crafted with soul. The response was immediate. Women weren’t just buying garments — they were forming bonds. Choosing elegance that felt personal, not performative.
This momentum led to a defining moment in 2018 — the birth of the Saanjaa store. Not a typical retail outlet, but a curated space for premium Indian wear. Saanjaa quickly earned a name for its bridal and festive ensembles, where each outfit reflected the precision of in-house manufacturing and a fresh designer perspective.

Understated Elegance
And then, something else became clear.
There was a growing group of women looking for more — understated elegance, genuine value, and designs that seamlessly transitioned from intimate gatherings to everyday grace.
That’s when the collection expanded. Saanjaa introduced a wide range of semi-premium garments for women who wanted refined Indian fashion without the noise — thoughtful, wearable, original. The product line grew into a graceful offering: tunic sets (with or without jackets), co-ord sets, shararas, dupattas, western tops, skirts, one-pieces — all bound together by one idea: quiet simplicity with a designer soul.

Center of Attraction
As word spread, the Saanjaa store naturally became a centreof attraction — drawing customers from surrounding cities and towns whocame for more than just clothing. They came for the experience. The warmth. Theintention behind each piece. These were garments not just worn — butremembered.

Andyet, a question kept returning:
How can we shop if we can’t come all the way?
In 2025, Saanjaa embraced its next chapter — launching online to make its pieces available to customers across India. Now, with the same in-house commitment to quality, design, and timely dispatch, women everywhere can experience premium Indian fashion made with care.

Butbeyond the garments,
Saanjaa is built on something deeper
It believes in clothing that whispers, not shouts.
It honours tradition, but lets it breathe.
It celebrates the idea that women shouldn’t have to choose between comfort and beauty, statement and subtlety, or daily wear and timelessness.
The name Saanjaa comes from the Punjabi word meaning “together” — representing not just shared design, but a shared way of life. A shared rhythm. A space where fabric, form, and feeling come together seamlessly.
